Wind
is all around which would then mean that we could use it over and over again.
Which then that would make the comment that wind is a renewable source and can
be recycled and used again without wasting anything. However, we would need
wind to actually produce the energy. Looking at the most common source of
energy it is good because it’s everywhere.
Today electricity powers mostly everything that we use and is something that we use every day. Many homeowners today try to push forward for a more eco-friendly ways to gain that energy by using wind turbines to power homes. If there is an average homeowner who would like to become more Eco-friendly then try using a wind turbine for wind energy! It saves money and doesn’t pollute the air like coal power plants.
Why is wind power a good thing to choose?

DeleteYes, wind energy is a domestic source of energy, produced in the United States, which is fueled by wind (Wind Power). Which in other terms, it means that wind energy is a renewable source of energy. Most of us know that wind energy is a cleaner fuel source for our environment; it doesn’t pollute the air like power plants (Wind Power). What that basically means is that it is a clean energy source that doesn’t harm the planet’s atmosphere. The nation’s wind supply is abundant in certain places such as the coast; in other places, it can be very scarce.

ReplyDeleteIf you look at the map that is located at the bottom of the page you can see where there is the most wind and where is the least wind. When looking at the map you can see in state of Minnesota, the most wind is around the Southwestern part of the state and also in the Rocky Mountains. Wind turbines work well do to the wide open spaces allowing the wind to travel straight to the windmill.
DeleteSo looking at your map, if I were to live in a mountainous are having wind turbines wouldn’t exactly help me. So there for, living in the middle or South-Eastern portions of the United States would be best places to have a wind turbine because they have the most wind in that area.

ReplyDeleteWhen looking at the positives, you will notice that they are different from wind power and that there is less. Coal power plants are good in the respect that they are able to generate large amounts of energy for numerous amounts of houses with just one power plant. The other reason why coal power plants are good is that no matter what the weather is like, you’ll always have energy, unless there is power outage; thus making it the most common source of energy out in the United States of America. None the less, these comments may seem like it’s a better choice but it does do damage later on.
