Post 5: The end of why wind is better

Wind power is one of the most popular ways to try to save money on electricity. Wind power compared to a coal plant has many things to compare. When looking at the price of them both, having a wind turbine for power is more expensive to purchase, but it is cheaper to produce the electricity then a coal plant. The advantages of having wind power is that it is good for the environment because of the little damage that it does to the environment, and also the disadvantages of wind turbines such as needing wind to be able to produce the wind would be a little difficult in places where there is a scarce amount a wind. Being green is not only important to your health but also for your environment and if you are an average homeowner then purchasing a wind turbine such as the ones on the right-hand side would be the best way to start.  Be green because of the knowledge of comparing the prices of coal and wind power, the advantages, and the disadvantages.

Post 4: The bad of wind and coal

Coal and wind turbines both have their down falls regarding a lot of different things such as always having the energy or even killing off animals. However some of their cons may not be as important to other people. Such as coal power plants leak out toxins such as mercury poison. Also, wind turbines kill off birds due to being in the air.

Post 3: The goods of wind and coal

Wind is all around which would then mean that we could use it over and over again. Which then that would make the comment that wind is a renewable source and can be recycled and used again without wasting anything. However, we would need wind to actually produce the energy. Looking at the most common source of energy it is good because it’s everywhere.

Post 2: Comparing the Prices

Today, money is very tight due to the economy. Whenever we see the word “sale” or “clearance” most of us would purchase the item that is discounted. If producing wind power had the word “clearance” on it most of us would want to go and use it. However, today we mostly use energy produced by coal mines that seem cheaper but in reality are not. In mostly every state there is some type of wind turbine producer that can make a turbine depending on what your needs are for the turbine. By clicking the link below, you will be able to search and find a local wind turbine maker.

Post 1: Intro to why wind is better

Wind energy is the major talk of the whole country as to if it is a reliable energy source to use instead of those of coal. Most homeowners don’t actually take the risk of going towards a more green approach. However, most people only do the basics of going green such as recycling plastics and such. However, a few people take it to the next step, such as purchasing a wind turbine in replacement of their electricity company that uses coal to produce the energy.
